Silicon Valley Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Programs

 

The following is a partial list of low-cost spay/neuter services in our area.  Please contact the individual clinics for prices and requirements as funding may vary.

  • $15.00 males
  • $20.00 females
  • $50 males
  • $60 females
  • Tame/Owned Cats - appointment required. Please call 408-794-7201 or visit www.sanjoseanimals.com to make an appointment.
  • Feral/Stray Cats - only accepted on a "walk-in" basis between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. on specified days--currently Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Please call or check their website--appointments for feral cats are not accepted at this time.
Feral cats MUST be safely contained in covered humane traps.
  • Kittens - must be at least 12 weeks of age.
  • Proof of residency required. Non-resident appointments accepted when space is available.
  • Low-cost vaccinations & microchips are also available to cats having surgery. Please ask for prices.

Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority also operates a low cost spay and neuter clinic for residents of Campbell, Monte Sereno and Santa Clara for $10 per cat. Surgeries typically take place on Wednesdays and appointments are required. To schedule an appointment call 408-764-0344.

Palo Alto Animal Services offers low-cost spay/neuter services for residents of Palo Alto, Mountain View, Los Altos and Los Altos Hills.  The cost for cats is $50 for males and $60 for females.  To make an appointment, or for further details, call 650-496-5933.
